Roxburgh House - external

Accommodation in Hobart

Set midway between the waterfront, Salamanca Place and North Hobart’s food precinct, Roxburgh House is located in an older area of the city, known as mid-town which  has  recently emerged as a vibrant café and small shops precinct  in Hobart.  The presence of the newly built UTAS Apartment building nearby has revitalised the area and it has some of the most interesting shopping precincts in town with a very different vibe to the main centre and the department stores. On Sunday, the Farmers’ Gate Market with all its fabulous food from local producers is a mere 200metres from the front door. Why breakfast at home?

Roxburgh House is just 400 metres from Hobart CBD, and then it’s another easy 3-5-minute walk to Salamanca Place and Hobart's historic waterfront where the ferry for MONA Museum and vineyard departs daily.

Hobart International Airport is around 20kms from the city and a taxi costs approx $60. A shuttlebus meets all flights daily and can take you directly to your Hobart accommodation at Roxburgh House in around 30 minutes for $19 for a oneway ticket.

If driving from the airport, follow the well signed Highway to Hobart.
